Today, I'm going to be sharing some book recommendations for the challenges associated with Ethel Waters and Jamie Clayton. Hey everyone, long time no see! I hope everyone is having a lovely May. I am here to let you all know about an awesome reading and art challenge I am helping host. The lovely Mols over at Bi Bookish Babe created this event which is called the Queers Gone By challenge and I am so excited to share it with all of you. The goal of this challenge is to celebrate queer women, both from the past and present, and their remarkable achievements. Each set of challenges is inspired by one of these women and created by one of our hosts.

I am so glad to have Lynn E. O'Connacht here for the final day of A-spec April! Lynn has written so many amazing books with a-spec rep that the hardest thing about posting this interview was deciding which book cover to put on the banner. In honor of A-spec April, my readathon that is happening right now, I created the A-spec Book Tag! I would be so happy if anyone did this tag, regardless of if I have tagged you. This tag is a celebration of ace and aro characters that everyone can participate in.

To kick off week two of A-spec April, we have the lovely Akemi Dawn Bowman here for an interview! Akemi is the author of our second group read, Summer Bird Blue, which features a multiracial Asian teen who is questioning identities on the asexual and aromantic spectrums. I am so thrilled that so many of us will be reading her book this week and that she is here for an interview!
