Today's Top 5 Wednesday theme is my Most Anticipated 2019 Releases! I already have over 60 books on my 2019 releases Goodreads shelf and I am adding more everyday, so choosing my top 5 is almost impossible. However, there definitely are some books that I've been looking forward to for ages that I just can't wait to share with you guys. Stay tuned for a longer list of anticipated books in the next few weeks, but in the meantime, here are a few I can't wait for...
Chain of Gold by Cassandra Clare
November 19th, 2019
Honestly, the hardest thing about this list was deciding which Cassandra Clare book to include. In 2019 we are getting Chain of Gold, The Red Scolls of Magic, AND Ghosts of the Shadow Market. I'm so excited for all of them, but I have a special place in my heart for The Infernal Devices so I think I will adore Chain of Gold. Plus, I already love everything that we've seen of these characters so far from the short story collections.

Once & Future by Amy Rose Capetta and Cori McCarthy

There is nothing about this book that doesn't sound awesome. A King Arthur retelling? Yes. In space? Yes. Make it queer and diverse? YES. Everyone I know who has read this book is singing its praises and I have an ARC on my desk that I am itching to get to. Not to mention I read Amy Rose Capetta for the first time this year and absolutely love her writing.

Immoral Code by Lillian Clark
February 19th, 2019
Anyone who knows my fiction taste knows I have a huge weakness for heist stories. This book sounds exactly like a young adult Leverage (my absolute favorite TV show) so I have very high hopes. The fact that this book has an ensemble cast and an aro/ace character is absolutely icing on the cake. I think I'm going to love this cast and story so much.

The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi

Okay, this book isn't exactly a heist story, but it has all the elements that I love in them. There's an awesome and diverse ensemble cast, mysteries and treasure, secret societies, and Paris in 1889. Roshani Chokshi has also been releasing character art on her twitter and it is beautiful. I can't wait to meet this whole cast.

Switchback by Danika Stone
It doesn't come up much on my blog because there aren't a lot of them in YA, but I used to love survival stories as a young reader. When I found out that there was a survival story coming out with an aro/ace main character, I got a little bit (actually a lot) excited. Not to mention, there's a D&D and video game loving main character which is exactly my jam.

Narrowing down this list was hard, but I am so excited for all of these titles. Let me know in the comments which books your are most looking forward to and why!
